CWS is designed to encourage discovery through intuitive, tactile interactions.
Take a peek.
1. Main Game View
The Main Game View is divided into four key areas:
- Crossword Board - starts empty each round, with the goal to complete all words.
- Alphabet Cube - tap or swipe to enter words, rotate to explore letter sets.
- Notification Field - shows your current input and confirms your actions.
- Status Bar - info buttons with access to menus, progress, settings, and more.
Note: the arrangement is based on a selected layout (portrait, landscape, or shared-screen). See the Settings menu.
2. Crossword Board
The Crossword Board dynamically displays:
- Fully solved words
- Empty spaces for missing letters
- Letter hints
Tap or swipe to change the crossword arrangement. This only reorients the words without altering the puzzle, but it may reveal subtle clues and insights.
3. Alphabet Cube
The Alphabet Cube is a 3D rotatable shape with alphabet letters. It is your primary input:
Tap or drag on letters to enter words.
Tap or drag outside the letters to rotate the cube and explore other letter sets.
Only one 4-letter set is active at a time.
Tip: you can combine swiping and tapping on letters. The same letters can be repeated many times in sequence or otherwise.
Note: magical charms of Diamond Tier, once activated, will be manifested through the cube.
